Microfluidic devices seem to be a good platform for studying the interaction of endogenous signaling with cell orientation, as well as their effects on the differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells. A research team has used a microfluidic device to control the flow of a signaling molecule and prove its effects on the differentiation of mouse stem cells.
