After the FDA approved recently the use of a low dose antiretroviral combination (Truvada) as a preventive measure to HIV infection, giving place to concerns about the possibility of increasing the prevalence of antiretroviral-resistant virus strains, among others.

Harvard and Caltech scientists report the building of a jellyfish-like creature using silicone and rat cardiomyocites. “Morphologically, we’ve built a jellyfish. Functionally, we’ve built a jellyfish. Genetically, this thing is a rat”, Kit Parker, the leader of the lab that produced the jellyfish, told Nature News.
